Thank you for visiting our site.  We are so glad you found us!  We are located in Smiths Station, Alabama and have been serving our community since 1952.  We are very proud of our Ruritan Club and our great community. Our Ruritan members believe the most important benefit of membership is the opportunity to work in fellowship with people who, like them, have a desire to make their community a better place in which to live.  The Ruritan motto is Fellowship, Goodwill & Community Service. We invite you to navigate through our website to learn more about us and we hope you will join us for an upcoming meeting!

Meeting Program for November:
​Teresa Whitlock, a teacher at Smiths Station High School will inform us about the "Story Corps" app.  The app will be a means in which students can learn some of the history of Smiths Station and the surrounding area.

Dinner: The club will be providing chicken pot pie.  We ask that all members bring appropriate sides of vegetables, salads, breads and desserts.  We hope to have extra guests.
